Experience the Unique Flavors of Irish Wine
Discover the Taste of Irish Wine
Wine production in Ireland is primarily concentrated in a limited number of vineyards and wineries, predominantly located in County Cork. Additionally, Lusk in North County Dublin is notable for producing a wine called 'Lusca.' Ireland holds official recognition as a wine-producing country by the European Commission. Several establishments contribute to this industry, including Ballydrehid House Estate in Cahir, County Tipperary; Blackwater Valley Vineyard in Mallow; The Watergrasshill Vineyard in Bartlemy; Longueville House in Mallow; West Waterford Vineyard in Cappoquin, County Waterford; and the southernmost and long-established Thomas Walk Vineyard in Kinsale. It's worth noting that these vineyards thrive despite their northern location, where Vitis vinifera, the common grapevine, typically does not grow.
